Tara McLaughlin grew up as a dancer on Long Island where she was first introduced to the practice of yoga. Loving the physical and mental benefits that yoga provided, she began to deepen her practice while studying psychology at Fairfield University. Upon entering her senior year of college, Tara pursued her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training with YogaWorks in NYC under teacher trainer Chrissy Carter. Since graduating in 2014 she has pursued teaching vinyasa and hatha classes that focus on alignment and move through a unique flow.
Tara’s class will challenge the mind and body by offering creative variations to classic poses and breaking down more challenging asanas for a firm understanding of the pose and how it can be accessible to you. Her sequence will flow through sun salutations, standing poses, twists and hip openers while connecting the breath to each movement, leaving you feeling balanced and more confident with your practice.
